Hello, Reader!
Earlier this week, I posted a short loom video on Twitter regarding my Roam Research usage for making medical notes. It garnered quite a huge numbers of engagement (compared to my other tweets), so I decided to make a tutorial for it.
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to harness Roam Research for your knowledge management as a medical doctor. This tutorial heavily leans towards medical note-taking, but you can also use the same technique for other purposes as well.
From a case encounter on the field into a crystallized note, I develop a workflow in Roam Research, an open-ended tool that works well with my style.
My workflow involves a series of steps that I will show below. The idea of my workflow is to capture the lessons from the field (which is my medical practice, either in the ward or emergency room) at a hospital, then to cross-pollinate the field insights with the written literature. Finally, to translate it into my permanent knowledge library.
